Santa Ana police investigating 2 deadly weekend shootings – Orange County Register
SANTA ANA – A 39-year-old man was shot dead in Santa Ana, authorities said Sunday.
Officers were sent to report a shooting victim in the Maple and Pine Streets area around 11:45 p.m. Saturday. They found Cesar Fierros Gonzalez with a gunshot wound to his upper body, the Santa Ana Police Department reported.
Paramedics rushed the Santa Ana resident to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

It was the second deadly shooting in Santa Ana on Saturday.
Police received a call at 12:26 a.m. regarding a shooting victim in the 800 block of South Townsend Street. Paramedics arrived and declared the victim, who also had a gunshot wound to the upper body, died at the scene.
