Rams WR Odell Beckham Jr leaves field with knee injury after quick Super Bowl start – Orange County Register

INGLEWOOD – The widely recognized Rams Odell Beckham Jr passed away with a non-contact knee injury after a quick start on Sunday in Super Bowl LVI.

Beckham grabbed his left knee as Rams midfielder Matthew Stafford made his pass in the second half against the Cincinnati Bengals. Beckham walked out of the SoFi Stadium, but needed the support of coaches to enter the blue medical tent.

Beckham has managed to make his way into the dressing room under his own authority. He was demoted to relegation in the third quarter and left the field with two 52-yard touches and one touchdown.

The Rams star scored the first Super Bowl points with a 17-yard touchdown of 6:22 in the first half. Beckham also has a 35-yard reception.

In the play when Beckham was injured, Stafford’s pass hit him while he grabbed his knee with 3:54 remaining in the second half. The Bengals defenders were standing a few yards away from Beckham when the injury struck.

Beckham then joined his teammates on the sidelines and wore a white shirt on his left leg.
