Tampa Bay runs back to Miss Wild card game
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be without a key member of their offense Sunday when they host the Philadelphia Eagles in their Wild Card game.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Buccaneers rerun Leonard Fournette will be inactive and will not play in the game.
With Fournette out and Ronald Jones out, expect Tampa to use Ke’Shawn Vaughn and Le’Veon Bell in the running game.
Losing Fournette would be an important loss for Tampa, which ranks third in receptions (69) this season after just 14 games. He also has 810 yards and 10 touchdowns this season and was a key player in last season’s playoffs for the Bucs in their Super Bowl run.
Tampa have received some good news, they will have key midfielder Lavonte David and bring Giovani Bernard back for the game.
