Remarkable: Lopez earned the upperweight MVP title by beating the 143-pound heavyweight team with four legs to lead the Vikings to the title at the CIF Center women’s individual tournament. Lopez (40-1) previously won the league title at Capistrano Valley, Mater Dei, Bonita, Ayala, Dick Morris Memorial and the Sunset Conference final.
