Philadelphia Eagles Tight End Tiree Jackson Tears ACL

Disappointment continued for Philadelphia Eagles substitute Tyree Jackson, whose first encounter was in the loss to Dallas on Saturday night.

After first reporting that the team felt Jackson avoided an ACL injury during the game, NFL Network’s Mike Garofolo reported Jackson was in fact injured.

He ended his sea trip with three catches of 22 yards in a single touchdown, all set up in the season finale, after missing the first eight weeks of the season after breaking down bones in his back in August in training camp.

Jackson is an interesting prospect, 6 feet 7 tall and a former college quarterback at the University of Buffalo.

The team felt he could be a factor in the passing game, returning to his training camp performance.

“Then you talk about our young boys, and I think what changed a little bit for us was the surprise of the camp, and it was just camp because we didn’t see it in the money games. season is Tiree [Jackson] and just watch how he works to get it back and the skills he has in his body,” Howie Roseman said in camp.

“If he looks like he did in training camp, that would be a player for us. But he has to show it in the games. And this is his chance to come back. and show us that. We don’t think it’s just a shot in the dark. We think this guy has some traits.”

Unfortunately, with all the injuries, it seems we won’t be able to see his features on full display and his development will come to a halt once again.
