Former Eagles head coach Doug Pederson arrives for an interview in Chicago

Former Eagles head coach Doug Pederson will be interviewing for the inaugural Chicago Bears head coach, a source told NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.

Pederson, of course, the only head coach in Eagles history to win the Super Bowl, will also give an interview to Jacksonville.

After sidelining the 2021 season, Pederson has said in numerous interviews that he is open to a return to coaching. He did not say he had a chance to return to last season as a coordinator, but instead he decided to take a full year off.

Both Chicago and Jacksonville offer young quarterbacks to team up with, which will make them attractive opportunities.

Other open campuses include Minnesota, Denver, and Miami, so Pederson might also be on their list.

Pederson had a 42–37–1 (.531) record in his five seasons with Philadelphia, including four playoff wins and a Super Bowl title.
