GIRLS BASKETBALL TOP 25

1. Mater Dei (March 13): The Monarchs got back on track last week with three wins, including a 15-point win over Rosary.

2. Rosary (7-6): The Royals performed well in the first half against Mater Dei before slipping in the third.

3. Sage Hill (July 14): Lightning defeated the full-strength Orangewood Academy to fortify a resume that includes victories over Orange Lutheran and Long Beach Poly.

4. Orangewood Academy (April 13): The Spartans recovered from their defeat to Sage Hill with strong efforts against Santa Margarita and Redondo.

5. Orange Lutheran (March 16): The Lancers face Santa Margarita, Rosary and Brea Olinda this week.

6. JSerra (9-5): The Lions head to Mater Dei and Santa Margarita this week in Trinity League.

7. Santa Margarita (April 11): The Eagles have been dropped four games in a row but are hosts to Orange Lutheran and JSerra this week.

8. Fairmont Prep (September 11): The Huskies can make a statement on Thursday by beating Sage Hill again.

9. Pacifica Christian (May 12): The Tritons overcame a solid Chino Hills 56-54 on Saturday.

10. Crean Lutheran (March 14): First place Saints play Valencia and Kennedy this week in the Empire League.
