Remarkable: McDonnell continued his stellar season in the CIF-SS Individual Championships by winning the Central Division Championship at £182. He won all five of his games in the fall. McDonnell, ranked third in California in his weight class, heads to this week’s Masters Meet. McDonnell this season was a Sunset League champion and finished second in the Five Counties meetup. “He has it all,” said Fountain Valley coach Brad Woodbury. “He will knock you down. It’s just a tough kid. ”
