Lots of super homes have gyms, but this Laguna Beach mansion?

The practice area is located below the glass terrace and “looks at the transparent wall under the water” of the infinity pool. So Villa Real Estate listing agent John Stanaland explained in a YouTube video tour of the home that just sold for $29.888 million.

That makes it the most expensive home sold in Orange County this year, according to the Multiple Listing Service.

The 8,140-square-foot contemporary-style home was completed in 2013 on more than a quarter of an acre site in the upscale Montage Ocean Estates, a small estate owned by Mark Cuban, the billionaire owner of Dallas Maverick’s NBA and star of NBC’s “Shark” Tank,” among neighbors. It has six bedrooms, nine bathrooms, and disappearing glass walls that help bring the occupants out.

A living room with an ocean-inspired mahogany ceiling and elongated glass fireplace is on the other side of the door. It flows to the kitchen decorated with illuminated onyx countertops.

The skylight-lit main suite features two large walk-in closets and a double vanity bathroom with walk-in shower and custom wooden tub. Glass doors open to the spa and garden with fountain.

A wooden spiral staircase leads to a spacious entertaining space, a temperature-controlled 1,000-bottle wine room and a state-of-the-art home theater with a custom nine-screen TV.

Outside there is an underground fire pit, a barbecue area and a separate Zen garden with waterfalls and rocks, all set against a backdrop of palm trees and the shore.

County records show the buyer was an unmarried woman, but the seller was concealed by a limited liability company. Title of the document viewed above Property shark show Breeze IV LLC, registered in Delaware with an Irvine address, purchased the property in 2009 for $5,472 million. It changed hands on February 9.
