The SUV was hit by a train in Orange – Orange County Register

Orange Police Department officials said a Nissan SUV was hit by a train at Main Street and West Alvarez Avenue in Orange.

The sergeant said that a man sitting alone was pushed from the vehicle onto the sidewalk and taken to the hospital in critical condition. Phil McMullin, spokesman for the department.

Due to the collision, Main Street was closed in both directions from West Collins Avenue to West Alvarez Avenue for the afternoon.
