SUV driver hunts after killing motorcyclist on Highway 5 and fleeing in Laguna Hills – Orange County Register
Authorities say the driver of the white SUV is being sought by authorities after fatally hitting a motorcyclist on Highway 5 in Laguna Hills and fleeing the scene, the Highway Patrol said. California said on February 14.
The crash happened Thursday, Feb. 10, at 7:38 a.m. southbound on the freeway, north of La Paz Street, CHP said. CHP said a motorbike driven by a 31-year-old man was hit by the SUV and the SUV fled the scene without stopping.
No immediately identifiable information is available to motorcyclists.
The SUV is believed to have suffered damage to its right side, authorities said. The CHP said the driver was being sought on suspicion of vehicular homicide.
