Orange County high school boys basketball rankings this week.

TOP BOYS BABY BABY 25

1. Mater Dei 25-4: The Trinity League Monarchs champions are losing 0-2 in the CIF Southern Section Open Division finals after losing by 22 points to Harvard-Westlake and seven to Sierra Canyon.

2. Crean Lutheran May 22: The Saints, who won 10-0 in the Empire League, are 0-2 in the Open Division final after losing narrowly to Damien and Bishop Montgomery.

3. Santa Margarita April 22: The Eagles beat Los Alamitos in Division 1 round, losing to St. Anthony in the second round.

4. JSerra 17-9: The Lions rose from sixth last week after a Division 1 playoff win over Oak Park, taking 19 points and taking 28 points against second-place Rolling Hills Prep.

5. Fairmont Prep 17-7: The Huskies beat Murrieta Valley in the first round in Division 1, then lost to St. John Bosco 4 points in the second round.

6. Orange Lutheran December 15: The Lancers were eliminated by West Ranch in the first round of the Division 1 knockout round.

7. Capistrano Valley Christian August 19: The Eagles are the top seeded team in Division 2AA, having beaten Downey in the first round, losing to Crespi in the second.

8. San Juan Hill 24-4: Stallions, the top seed in Division 2A, had their first game of goodbye then a 78-54 win over Aquinas.

9. Edison 25-4: The Chargers, 2nd seed in 2A, bid their goodbyes in round one before defeating Elsinore 75-57 in round two; play at Pacifica Christian, which they beat in early December, in the quarterfinals.

10. Canyon 25-4: Comanches, the 2nd seed in 2AA, played brilliantly in a 71-29 first-round win over Servite, followed by a top lane victory over ML King to advance to the quarterfinals.
