Sinead O’Connor hospitalized after 17-year-old son’s death
Singer Sinead O’Connor is said to have been hospitalized a few days after announcing the death of her 17-year-old son.
O’Connor said on Twitter that she was being taken to the hospital after she posted messages regarding the loss of her son, Shane. “I’m with the police on my way to the hospital now,” she speaks. “I’m sorry to upset everyone. I’m lost without my children and I hate myself. The hospital will help for a while. But I’ll find Shane. This is just a delay. ” Before that, she made fans panic by tweeting that she “decided to follow my son” because “there’s no point in living without him” and “I’m just staying for him.”
O’Connor announced last week that her son, Shane O’Connor, died in an apparent suicide after going missing. “‘My beautiful son, Nevi’im Nesta Ali Shane O’Connor, the light of my life, has decided to end his earthly struggles today and is now with God, ” she tweeted. “May he rest in peace and no one will follow his example. My child. I love you very much. Please rest in peace.” According to NBC News, O’Connor’s son is said to have been on suicide watch at a hospital in Dublin.
Early Friday, O’Connor tweeted that She apologized for her earlier related messages, writing, “I’m so sad. My son is the love of my life.” She has previously talked about battling mental illness, 2017 says, “I’m fighting, fighting, fighting, fighting and fighting – like all the millions and millions of people I know I’m one of – to survive every day.”
