It’s “Super Wild Card Weekend” so we have a super review in the “Super SportsClicker” newsletter, explaining what we’ve seen and what it means. We start:

1. Drew Brees could have done Troy Aikman some money on Saturday call game Bengals-Raiders.

Although Fox is expected to make a strong offer to keep Aikman — think in the $12 million to $13 million range — it won’t enter a bidding war with Amazon. Before Saturday, there was a feeling that Aikman and Brees could potentially split Amazon’s games. This will allow Aikman to continue playing the biggest games at Fox, while also continuing to do some Thursday nights on Amazon.
