French lawmakers approve vaccine

The French parliament on Sunday voted from 215 to 58 to give final approval to set through a vaccine and other measures to step up efforts to limit coronavirus infections, writing Reuters.

Under the new law, people will have to present proof of their COVID-19 vaccination to enter restaurants, cinemas, long-range trains and other public places.

The measure, which will take effect within the next few days, was passed in the face of opposition from vaccine opponents.
