French lawmakers approve vaccine
The French parliament on Sunday voted from 215 to 58 to give final approval to set through a vaccine and other measures to step up efforts to limit coronavirus infections, writing Reuters.
Under the new law, people will have to present proof of their COVID-19 vaccination to enter restaurants, cinemas, long-range trains and other public places.
The measure, which will take effect within the next few days, was passed in the face of opposition from vaccine opponents. President Emmanuel Macron earlier this month told Le Parisien newspaper that he hopes to “bother“didn’t get vaccinated and disrupted their lives to the point where they had to give in and get the shots.
