Casino operator files lawsuit, wants Washington’s tribal sports gambling ‘monopoly’ to be kept until it’s expanded

The lawsuit was filed in US District Court by Maverick Gaming LLC, which owns 19 of the 44 licensed casinos in Washington. Maverick has unsuccessfully lobbied state legislators in recent years to expand sports gambling beyond tribal casinos.
