MONEY PRINTER
Leagues are important revenue generators for high school sports programs.
San Clemente wrestling coach Mark Calentino estimates that school wrestling generates between $6,000 and $8,000 annually in team fees, spectator entrance fees, and food bar sales. Quick from the San Clemente Rotary Tournament, an annual event the school hosted last weekend.
COVID-19 takes a toll on fundraising as it forces events to be cancelled.
