Savannah Guthrie hosts Today from home after testing positive for COVID-19

Savannah Guthrie anchored NBC’s Today from the second house after becoming Latest TV presenter tested positive for COVID-19.

Guthrie announced early Monday Today she’s hosting the show remotely because “I just tested positive for COVID.” This happened just four days later Today co-host Hoda Kotb also announced she tested positive for coronavirus. Kotb is back Todaystudio on Monday after receiving two negative test results.

“Well, here we go, Hoda,” said Guthrie. “We’re the place to trade.”

Guthrie and Kotb’s positive test results also came after NBC’s late-night host Seth Meyers test positive for COVID-19 last week, forcing him to cancel his show for the rest of the week. Meyers said he feels “fine” thanks to the vaccinations and booster shots. Jimmy Fallon, host of NBC The Tonight’s program, also revealed that he tested positive at the start of the holiday season in December. “Getting vaxxed, motivated, because of this man, it was a bang,” Fallon said. “It’s a real thing. If I didn’t have it [vaccine], it feels like I’m living real, real, real, real, real, really sick. “James Corden, host of CBS’ The Late Late Show, recent positive test also.
