Showboat Atlantic City has started Island Waterpark.
Atlantic City Mayor Marty Small joined the hotel owner for the ceremony on Wednesday, January 12.
Blatstein reports that the ISLAND water park will be the largest indoor water park in the world. This will be a project of more than 100 million dollars.
Philadelphia developer Bart Blatstein is doubling down on his promise of bringing casino-free attractions to Atlantic City by adding another family-friendly entertainment concept. Prior to that, Blatstein developed and successfully deployed the 100,000 square foot Showboat Atlantic City.”Lucky Snake“Arcade and sports bar.
Island Waterpark at Showboat Atlantic City will be a 103,000 square foot year-round indoor water park that will feature:
- Waterslide
- pool
- The river flows slowly
- Food and drinks
- Retail stores
- Reception area
- Banquet
There will be a retractable glass roof that will cover the entire project to make it a year-round destination.
It will be built on beach land on New Jersey Avenue, adjacent to the Atlantic City of Showboat.
