Motorcyclist dies after colliding with pickup truck in Garden Grove – Orange County Register

A 56-year-old motorcyclist died after he collided with a pickup truck on Chapman Avenue in Garden Grove on Tuesday night, February 8, authorities said.

The Garden Grove man was heading east on Chapman just after 8:25 p.m. when the truck, heading west, attempted to turn left onto Knott Road, Lt. Mario Martinez said.

Martinez said the motorbike driver hit the truck and died at the scene.

Martinez said that alcohol and drugs are not believed to have been factors in the crash.

The motorbike driver has not been identified by the police while waiting for a notification from his next of kin.
