Five OC teams in pre-season CIF-SS Division 1 top 10 – Orange County Register

Orange Lutheran is 2nd, JSerra is 3rd and Huntington Beach is 4th in the top 10 of the CIF Southern Section 1 preseason.

Harvard-Westlake came in at No. 1 in the Division 1 pre-season poll. The CIF-SS rankings were created by the CIF-SS Baseball Advisory Committee consisting of CIF-SS baseball coaches.

Harvard-Westlake beat JSerra 3-0 in last season’s Division 1 championship game.

Also in the top 10 of Division 1 pre-season is Cypress, in 7th place and 10th Servite. Foothill and Santa Margarita are in the “other” category in Division 1.

Woodbridge is 2nd and La Habra is 3rd in Division 3. La Habra were Division 6 champions last season.

The Division 6 poll has University in 3rd and Garden Grove in 3rd.

The CIF-SS baseball season begins on Friday.
