Players must find a five-letter word in just six tries and are given a new word to guess every day.
The game uses the same rules as Scrabble, with only real words allowed in both the guessing and the result.
If you match a letter in the right place and form the correct word, the square will turn green.
However, if the guessed letter is in the word but not in the right place, the square will turn yellow.
Wrong letters will be grayed out to ease the elimination process for the six tries.

Wordle New York Times
The game was developed by software developer Josh Wardle, who sold the popular word game to The New York Times after it became a worldwide sensation.
In a statement on Twitter, he wrote: “Since starting Wordle I have been amazed by the response from everyone who has played.
“The game turned out bigger than I ever imagined (which I don’t think is a great achievement considering I made the game for an audience).
“It’s been incredible to see the game bringing so much joy to so many people, and I’m so grateful for the personal stories some of you have shared with me – from Wordle uniting distant family members to provoking more friendly ones rivalries to support medical recovery.
“On the other hand, I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t mind-blowing.”
