Winner South Jersey HS Female Athlete Fall 2021

During the fall high school sports season, 973 ESPN South Jersey and Prime Events brought you nominations, and you voted for South Jersey High School Athlete of the Week. We now want to recognize the best female high school athletes of the season. Winner in 2021 South Jersey Fall High School Male Athlete Cedar Creek Quarterback JC Landicini.

Check out the candidates below:

* Jenna Crawford, Cedar Creek, Senior – She went 19-0 in a Pirates at Number One singles match in Tennis and won the Cape-Atlantic League singles tournament for the second time.

* Sofia Day, Mainland – Freshman who won the CAL and Atlantic County national championships, finished fourth in the NJSIAA South Jersey Group 3 Meetup, and qualified for the Meet Of Champions.

* Camryn Dirkes, Mainland, Premium – She led the Mustangs with 14 goals and 10 assists along with scoring the only goal in three 1-0 wins and a pair of 1-1 draws.

* Jenna Grey, Egg Harbor Town – The Sophomore leads all Cape-Atlantic League field hockey players with 17 assists, including three against the Mainland. In addition, she has scored 12 goals with a hat-trick against Bridgeton.

* Carly Hanin, Ocean City, Senior – She led the Cape Atlantic League with 25 goals in field hockey and also contributed seven assists. She had a three-goal hat trick a total of three times during the season.

* Summer Reimet, Ocean City – The captain leads the state with 62 goals in women’s football. She has rewritten the OCHS record books with 131 career goals and six in a game twice. She scored a goal in East’s win at the All-American Game in Tennessee.

Our voting week winners for the Fall 2021 South Jersey High School Athletes: Jenna Gray of Egg Harbor! It was a close final vote between EHT’s Gray and Cedar Creek’s Jenna Crawford with the final tally knocking out the Mainland’s Camryn Dirkes in third place and Sofia Day in a strong fourth.
