Wildwood Catholic Alum Jahlil White Earns Freshman AAC for the week
Wildwood Catholic Jahlil White had indeed begun to find a hole in the Temple.
The freshman had an outstanding week, averaging 13 points and 5.5 rebounds, shooting 65.7% long distance, winning the AAC Freshman of the Week title.
It’s been a solid week for Whitesboro, the NJ native leading the Owns with a career-high 17 points-seven-nine in Temple’s win over UCF. He followed that up with another impressive opening game, scoring nine points and six more rebounds in a win over East Carolina.

White was the standout in the Crusaders, averaging 16.6 points, 4.9 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 2.4 steals per game, helping Wildwood Catholic win three consecutive Cape-Atlantic League titles. Next and won South Jersey, Non-Public B. He also averaged 18.6 points and 6.1 rebounds per game as a junior to coach Dave DeWeese.
