Why I support Halima Abubakar – Queeneth Agbor

Earlier in the week, actress Queeneth Agbor shared a post on social media about fellow actress Halima Abubakar who is reportedly ill. In the message, she said people should avoid condemning Abubakar and instead empathize with her.

In an interview with Sunday Scoop, Agbor said she submitted the application because she was in significant pain with Abubakar. She said: “I shared the publication because I saw her (Abubakar) in pain.

If the people they are “tugging” (criticizing) suffer the pain, they may not survive it. I shared the lineup because friends are said to help and stand by each other through pain, grief, and tears. Real friends are not only understood during conversation, laughter and happy celebrations, but in moments like this.”

Describing Abubakar’s personality, she said: “I know that Halima is a selfless, sturdy and sweet woman. She is a giver. I’ve never seen anyone hide their pain just to cheer up a sad dude. If concern for one’s business has turned into a person, it could be Halima. Don’t step on her toes, though. She’s usually there to give me advice.”

Speaking about those who condemned the actress on social media, Agbor explained: “Sinners choose sinners differently because they have sinned. Her simplest crime I think is having the confidence to lose herself by telling her reality. However, gullible people are more likely to ‘pull’ them than to ask the right questions.”
