An 18-month investigation by the BBC uncovered shocking revelations from people using the service.
This included Jeffrey Leigh-Jones, who joined the group in 2019 to learn about self-discipline.
He did this while planning a one-man trek to the South Pole.
However, his involvement with the group cost him thousands of pounds and Jeffrey sold his house to invest in the organisation.
He spent a total of £131,000 including £25,000 to become a closer member of the company.
Jeffrey left the group after his perception changed. He requested a refund but received none.
It was also noted that the group threatened to investigate him and his girlfriend Dawn.
What did Lighthouse say about the allegations?
Lighthouse has claimed that the BBC’s documentary and findings are a myth.
