CHELSEA have sacked manager Graham Potter after dismal results.
The former Brighton manager, 47, has been relieved of his duties by Toddy Boehly after a crisis meeting at the club’s training ground.
Bruno Saltor will lead the West Londoners until a permanent successor to Potter is chosen.
A statement from the club read: “Chelsea FC have announced that Graham Potter has left the club. Graham has agreed to work with the club to ensure a smooth transition.
“In his time at the club, Graham guided us to the quarter-finals of the Champions League where we will meet Real Madrid.
“Chelsea would like to thank Graham for all his efforts and contribution and wish him well in the future.”
“Bruno Saltor will take over the team as interim head coach.”
Potter was sacked just six months into a five-year deal worth £12million after the Blues fell to 11th after a dismal 2-0 home loss to Aston Villa.
