PFL CEO Peter Murray gave SunSport insider information on why he created this new international MMA league.

Murray told SunSport: “We’re launching the first international league in Europe because it’s the #1 growth market.

“There is more demand for quality MMA in Europe than anywhere else in the world and the talent in Europe is very advanced.

“There are top fighters who don’t have a proper home, who don’t have the support to develop their careers.

“So we’re developing this system and it’s exciting for the fans.”
