What does the future hold, could we see cheap offers in the transfer window?

The summer transfer window is fast approaching and some massive deals could happen once the season is over.
Clubs across Europe are looking for the best possible transfers and there are many players whose contracts expire in the summer of 2023.

Salah is just one of many world-class stars who could move on in the summer
With their contracts running down to a year in June, their bosses could be forced to sell rather than lose their star players for nothing 12 months later.
As such, we could see some of the biggest names in the world moving at potentially bargain prices.
Here talkSPORT takes a look at some of the players and clubs affected.
Of course, there is still enough time to sign new contracts.
Mohamed Salah – Liverpool
Salah has been a sensational player for Liverpool since joining from Roma in the summer of 2017.
The 29-year-old has scored 153 goals in less than 250 games for the Reds. He also helped Liverpool win the Champions League and Premier League.
However, despite the club’s and player’s best efforts, an agreement has yet to be reached.
Barcelona and Real Madrid have been linked with him in the past.

Marcus Rashford – Manchester United
Rashford is really struggling for form at Man United this season and with his contract expiring in the summer of 2023 could he decide to leave his boyhood club?
Rashford is a United Academy product and has played 297 games for them but it looks like his time at the club will be wasted.
The Red Devils will have no shortage of interest, with Newcastle, West Ham, Atletico Madrid and even Liverpool all said to be interested.
Surely one of those clubs could pick up Rashford for a bargain price if his struggles continue at Old Trafford.

Raheem Sterling-Manchester City
Sterling has become a force in his time at Manchester City as he helped win three Premier League titles.
However, he could leave the club this summer if they don’t negotiate a new deal.
Manager Pep Guardiola wants him to stay but little progress has been made on a new deal.
Guardiola said: “If we count the number of games he’s played since we’ve been together, that’s a lot. He’s a key player.
“As for the future, I don’t know what’s going to happen. The club decides. I give my opinion, but of course the club makes the decision all the time.”
If the two parties are unable to reach an agreement, it has been claimed that City would benefit from the England international and they would be looking for around £50million.

City could decide to sell Sterling in the summer, which could attract a lot of interest
Sadio Mane – Liverpool
Will Liverpool lose both Mane and Salah for a knock down price?
The 29-year-old has been at Liverpool a little longer than Salah and while he hasn’t scored as many goals, Mane has been a key part of a hugely successful Liverpool side under manager Jurgen Klopp.
There are no official contract talks between Mane and the Reds yet, so his future remains up in the air.
If Liverpool decide to sell him in the summer, they have Luis Diaz as a backup and reports earlier this year suggested he might be interested in a move to either Real Madrid or Barcelona.

Lionel Messi – Paris Saint Germain
Messi, arguably the greatest player in the world, hasn’t had the best of times at PSG so far.
In fact, the Argentine was booed by his own fans after his Champions League surrender against Real Madrid.
Messi is said to be unhappy with life in the French capital and it wouldn’t be a surprise if the Ligue 1 side benefited from the former Barcelona man in the summer.
Before joining PSG, Messi was linked with a move to Manchester City so that might be something to keep an eye on.

Cristiano Ronaldo-Manchester United
Ronaldo’s contract at Old Trafford expires when he’s 38, but he could leave the club after just one season.
This year he is United’s top scorer with 18 goals.
However, he has been accused of struggling in certain games and while he has scored plenty of goals, he is not Manchester United’s future.
Therefore, it wouldn’t be a surprise if the club and the player decide to part ways over the summer.

David de Gea – Manchester United
De Gea has been at Manchester United since 2011 but his time as No 1 could be coming to an end.
The 31-year-old has made 478 appearances for Manchester United and put in countless world-class performances.
There is talk of a new deal for the former Atletico Madrid man but it looks like he hasn’t signed a new deal yet.
Therefore, it’s possible we could see the Spaniard leave Old Trafford in the summer.

Robert Lewandowski – FC Bayern Munich
Lewandowski is arguably the best striker in the world but he could switch in the summer.
The 33-year-old has scored a whopping 45 goals in just 37 games this season, which are just ridiculous numbers.
Bayern really want to keep the Pole in the Allianz Arena and are offering him a two-year extension.
However, Lewandowski is said to be open to a move and maybe we could finally see him in the Premier League?
Surely this could be a transfer to watch in the summer.

N’Golo Kante – Chelsea
Kante has been in the Premier League since the summer of 2015 and has won the title twice.
During his time in the league, he has established himself as one of the best ball-bound midfielders in the world, winning the World Cup with France.
However, he turns 31 at the end of this month and Chelsea are unable to sign any new contracts at this time.
They also can’t sell players, but if their ownership is settled before the summer it wouldn’t be a surprise if Kante is allowed to leave Stamford Bridge before he can leave for free in 2023.

Bukayo Saka – Arsenal
Saka’s current deal with Arsenal expires in 2023, however the Gunners have the option of a year extension which you would think they would activate.
The 20-year-old has lit up the Premier League this season and appears to be on the way up.
It’s therefore hard to imagine the England international leaving on the cheap in the summer and as they’ve started contract talks with their academy graduate it’s a lot more likely he’s confiding in his future to Mikel Arteta.
