Week 11 in review: Galaxy A73, A53, A33 are official, Xiaomi 12 is now global

Another week down so let’s recap. Samsung introduced the Galaxy A73, A53 and A33 – all three with high-resolution FHD+ AMOLED displays, 5,000 mAh batteries and 25W charging.
The Samsung Galaxy A53 5G will be available in select markets on April 1st. Prices for Europe start at €450, the Galaxy A33 launches April 22 and starts at €370. The pricing of the A73 is yet to be confirmed.
The Xiaomi 12 series went global. The Xiaomi 12 Pro starts at $1,000/€1,000 for an 8/256GB model, the Xiaomi 12 starts at $750/€800 for the base 8/128GB model, and the Xiaomi 12X starts at $650/€700 for a 8/128GB model.
Honor announced the Magic4 Ultimate for China with a 1/1.12-inch main camera sensor, matching the world’s largest in the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra. The Honor Magic4 Ultimate Edition will be available in China later this year, priced at 8,000 CNY ($1,260/€1,140/£95,600) and will be available in black and white.
The Redmi K50, K50 Pro and K40S also debuted in China. The Redmi K50 Pro comes with MediaTek’s Dimensity 9000 chipset, the Redmi K50 comes with a Dimensity 8100 chipset, while the Redmi K40S ships with a Snapdragon 870. The Redmi K50 Pro starts at 2,999 CNY ($472) for 8GB RAM and 128GB storage configurations. The 8/256GB version costs 3,299 CNY ($520), while the 12/512GB variant costs 3,999 CNY ($630). Redmi K50 starts at 2,399 CNY ($378) for the 8/128 GB configuration, while the top 12/256 GB configuration costs 2,799 CNY ($440). The Redmi K40S starts at CNY 1,799 for the 6/128GB model, CNY 1,999 for the 8/128GB model, CNY 2,199 for the 8/256GB model and CNY 2,399 for the 12/256GB model -Model.
Finally, a word on the iPhone 14. New renders seem to confirm the pill and hole design instead of the current notch. Meanwhile, Ming-Chi Kuo said that only the iPhone 14 Pro (6.1-inch) and 14 Pro Max (6.7-inch) will have a new A16 Bionic chip, while the A14 (6.1-inch) and A14 Max ( 6.7 inches ) will have an A15 Bionic.
