Warsaw-based Zimmer-Biomet acquires medical technology company

FORT WAYNE, Indiana (WANE) – Zimmer-Biomet, the Warsaw-based company focused on medical mobility solutions, announced Thursday that it will acquire a privately held medical device company.

The Embody acquisition is expected to close in February 2023. According to a press release, Embody is a “soft tissue healing company pioneering next-generation regenerative platform with novel collagen-based biofabrication techniques and products for the fasting-growing sports medicine market.”
