Vehicle crashes into Weld County ditch as slippery conditions take over – CBS Denver

WELD COUNTY, Colorado (CBS4) – Slippery and icy conditions are believed to have contributed to a multiple vehicle accident in Weld County on Wednesday. Weld County Sheriff’s Officers closed a portion of County Road 74.

Several first responders rushed to the scene. Officials tell CBS4’s Dillon Thomas that a car is stuck in a ditch.

First alert meteorologist Ashton Altieri says areas near Fort Collins and Boulder will see more snow than parts of the Denver metro area, particularly around Estes Park, Ward and Nederland.

Altieri adds that single-digit temperatures will be widespread on Thursday morning and Friday morning will be even colder.
