DAYOT UPAMECANOS Clearing from within his own half gave Thomas Tuchel an incredible start as Bayern Munich coach – thanks to an almighty mistake by Borussia Dortmund keeper Gregor Kobel.

With Bayern needing the win to overtake their great rivals at the top of the Bundesliga, Kobel dashed to the edge of his box to flick the ball away – but instead clipped it into his own net.

Thomas Muller then scored twice as Tuchel’s new club took a 3-0 lead within 28 minutes.

Kobel’s cheating was dubbed a “bug for eternity” on social media.

And he couldn’t believe it himself as he stood gaping and staring up, hands clasped behind his head.
