Suella Braverman wanted not only to downplay the notion that the unprecedented delays at Dover had anything to do with Brexit, but in fact to dismiss it entirely.

Of course not, Minister of the Interior! Except that esteemed BBC contributor Ros Atkins took a closer look and – you’ll never guess – in fact Brexit has quite a bit to do with it.

Anyhow, we mention it because over on Sky News the impeccably knowledgeable travel journalist and broadcaster Simon Calder was asked if there was any compensation for all this disruption and his answer was 10/10.
