The White Darkness in question, amazingly, isn’t one of the hundreds of jokes that immediately welcomed the announcement Series name online; it’s actually a reference to Antarctica, the least crappy frontier on the planet. Hugh adapts the miniseries from Daniel Grann’s non-fiction book of the same name. And it’s hard to deny acting Allure of Worsley’s story: one man against a continent, driven by nothing but his own determination to keep going?
