Tito Ortiz says ‘yes’ and goodbye to Huntington Beach home and sells it for $4 million – Orange County Register

Former Mayor Pro Tem Tito Ortiz and longtime girlfriend Amber Nichole Miller say goodbye to their Huntington Beach home with one final celebration, their wedding.

Pictures posted to Miller’s Instagram page show the couple tied the knot on November 11, less than a week before the Huntington Harbor home was sold for $4 million, a markdown of 11% compared to the last offer price.

The 3,887-square-foot, four-bedroom, four-bathroom Tuscan-style home with 20-foot vaulted ceilings originally went on the market in December 2021 for $6 million. The list price was lowered several times before leveling off at $4.5 million in October.

Built in 2006 on the close-knit Davenport Island, the home is adjacent to a 50-foot dock with room for a yacht and a Duffy, which according to listing agent Baron Bershaw of Compass was a major draw for the unidentified buyer, Elmer’s Gonzales was represented by Park Group Real Estate.

“The whole benefit and reason they bought it was they could go out of their house and get on their boat and go,” Bershaw said over the phone. “Plus, it’s a cool little waterway. People paddle and swim in the water. And when the holiday season comes, everyone is out with their Duffys. There is always something going on in your garden.”

Inside the two-story home, hand-laid limestone, wrought-iron railings, and custom woodwork adorn the space.

Other features include a wood paneled office, a formal dining room with built in china cabinets and a temperature controlled 300 bottle wine cellar with a rolling library ladder.

The kitchen features quality appliances and a large center island with seating. It opens to the family room.

Upstairs are two primary suites with balconies.

Ownership records show that Ortiz purchased the home in 2008 for $3.25 million. The mixed martial artist, who briefly dabbled in politics, once shared it with former adult film star Jenna Jameson, the mother of his twin sons. Ortiz, who split from Jameson after seven years, was given full custody of their boys. He also has an older son from a previous relationship.

Although he and Miller plan to move to Florida with their family, his connection to the Surf City home has gained notoriety. A publicized estate sale brought forth curious looky-loos and buyers alike. The demonstrations were also well attended and led to two offers.

“Ultimately it came down to the activities that you can participate in with ownership of the home, but (the ownership) was an exciting detail, especially for Huntington Beach,” Bershaw said. “This is probably the biggest celebrity in Huntington Beach.”
