These restaurants offer take-out celebratory meals – Orange County Register

People love traditional Thanksgiving dinners, but many of them don’t love baking turkey or figuring out when to pull a pumpkin pie out of the oven.

Restaurants are ready to take on these tasks, heating and serving family meals for people to pick up and then serve on their own tables.

Most include turkey, gravy, mashed and/or sweet potatoes, stuffing and bread. But side dishes and portions vary by restaurant. Some restaurants also offer whole cakes or desserts, while others offer them as add-ons.

Most restaurants require pre-orders and some have deadlines. Pickup times and dates are also usually set in advance. Some restaurants close on Thanksgiving, while others offer full service with special holiday menus and grab-and-go options.

Details listed on chain websites may vary by location, including price.
