These country fans don’t want drag queens on TV and the comeback was great

At the Country Music Television Awards, where country singer Kelsea Ballerini irritated the right crowd by appearing onstage with four drag queens from Ru Paul’s Drag Race.

And you don’t have to be a country fan for that.

Fabulously done after Ballerini’s home state of Tennessee passed new legislation (temporarily blocked by a federal judge) classifying shows featuring “male or female impersonators” as adult cabaret and “harmful to minors.”

But not everyone appreciated it, as you’ve probably guessed, and the takedown of these folks complaining on Facebook was just awesome.

The answers weren’t actually the work of the CMT Awards, but rather the great Ben Palmer, who specializes in pretending to be a company on Facebook, but it’s no less satisfying for that.
