The Samsung Galaxy S22 series receives a new update, the April security patch

New month, new patch – Samsung has started rolling out an update to the Galaxy S22, S22+ and S22 Ultra pushing the security patch to April 1st. The changelog is rather short, the only additional key point is “Overall stability of the functions improved”.

The new firmware, version S90xEXXU1AVCJis a massive 1.5GB download to help you settle in. It is currently being rolled out in parts of Europe, North Africa, the Middle East and Asia.

The Samsung Galaxy S22 series is now receiving the April security patch

The phones remain on Android 12 and One UI 4.1, the same versions that launched them earlier this year. The first update the S22 series received brought the March security patch.
