The Houston Astros have 5 days off before taking on wildcard winner Seattle-Toronto in the 2022 AL Division Series

HOUSTON, TX (KTRK) — Astros manager Dusty Baker is looking forward to something in a couple of days, and it’s not just another playoff run.
“There’s a full moon in a few days, and I believe in that power,” Baker said after Wednesday’s 3-2 win over the Phillies. It was his team’s 106th win of the season. It’s the most successful team Baker has ever led.
As the American League postseason frontrunner, the Astros now have five full days off before opening the American League division’s best-of-five series on Tuesday, Oct. 11.

“Just win,” Baker said of the message he will be sharing with his team. “I don’t really write a speech or anything like that. I just have a kind of outline and say what’s on my mind and to my heart. We’re winning, we’re not really hot. We win. We win as a unit. I just hope we get hot going into the playoffs here. I am confident.”
The Astros meet the winner of the best-of-three series between the Blue Jays and Seattle Mariners this weekend in Toronto. Whichever team emerges from this series travels to Houston to play Games 1 and 2 of the ALDS.
