FORT WAYNE, Indiana (WANE) — The Fort Wayne Sports Club (FWSC) is hosting its final Fish Fry of the Year later this month as part of the club’s monthly tradition.

Dinner includes a “generous portion” of fish, baked or scalloped potatoes, coleslaw, applesauce, a bread roll and dessert, all prepared by FWSC members. The Fish Fry also offers many beers on tap and in bottles.

The FWSC was founded in 1927 by German soccer players who immigrated to the Fort Wayne area after World War I, with the club’s goal of promoting “football (soccer) and German culture” in northeastern Indiana.
The fry will return on January 27, 2023.
