The Eagles’ appearance in Super Bowl LVII primed Philadelphia to grease light poles again: report
Philadelphia has been quite a sports city lately, with the Phillies in the World Series and now the Eagles back in the Super Bowl. That’s why the city is bracing for possible chaos on the streets when the Eagles take home the Vince Lombardi Trophy on Sunday.
Crowds poured through the streets two weeks ago as the Eagles defeated the San Francisco 49ers to make it back to the Super Bowl after winning it in 2018. And this celebratory walk through the City of Brotherly Love has brought a challenge that many Philly believers wish to achieve.

However, the celebration of the return to the Fall Classic was much the same as it was two weeks ago – just more red and white shirts than green and white.
Light poles were lubricated in the cities, but it didn’t help.
One guy even celebrated his summit by having a beer at the top. Eagles offensive lineman Jordan Mailata was also spotted on Broad Street as the Phillies won the pennant.

All in all, it will be a tough fight with the Kansas City Chiefs before we celebrate. But if the Eagles emerge victorious, Philadelphia will be as prepared as it can be.
