The public has learned a lot about it Tom Brady and ex-wife Gisele Bundchen‘s finances lately, thanks to her dedicated The PR team circulates information about the couple’s assets during the divorce. The former NFL quarterback has a net worth of around $250 million and the supermodel has an estimated $400 million. But despite this impressive wealth, the couple’s charitable Luz Foundation managed give less than 0.1% of their value to charity between 2007 and 2019.

“My life is dedicated to that,” Bundchen told dem Sydney Morning Herald in 2015 via the foundation, which made a whopping $300 donation to a Costa Rican environmental group in 2018. No offense baby, but try to devote a little more effort next time.

The majority of donations this decade went to yoga and meditation groups, including a $25,000 donation to the David Lynch Foundation in 2017. (Psst, celebrities, yoga and meditation are great and all, but I’m asking you to donate some money to feed and house people.) In total, between 2007 and 2019, the Luz Foundation gave US$640,402 – Dollars out. The amount, if I were to round up generously, is 0.1% of their net worth.

In addition to the Luz Foundation, Brady has his own nonprofit organization called the TB12 Foundation. The daily beast reported that only in 2020 The organization was $7 million in debt. Despite being in the red, the TB12 Foundation managed to fund Brady’s for-profit company, TB12 LLC. with over $1.6 million, making the Foundation the LLC’s largest contractor.

That kind of philanthropic prowess must have earned Bundchen the job as director of environmental and social initiatives for FTX, the now-defunct crypto Ponzi scheme she and Brady peddled earlier this year (and are now being sued for) .). Before being relieved of her duties due to the collapse of the entire crypto exchange, Bundchen helped found FTX Sam Bankman Fried announce the company’s plan to donate $1 billion to charities over the next year.

Maybe it’s a good thing in the end that the couple either didn’t give away their fortune, because when you look at this FTX lawsuit from defrauded investors, they need that extra cash now more than ever.
