BRADLEY Walsh was so frustrated at The Chase last night that he marched off.

The host, 62, made a U-turn and headed for the exit after a question about the word “suave.”

But the 62-year-old quickly reported back with a sigh: “It’s hard after all the work.”

The drama occurred during a showdown between a contestant named Jane and Wednesday’s chaser, Darragh ‘The Menace’ Ennis.

Her round on The Chase was unraveled by the question, “The term ‘suave’ comes from a Latin word meaning what?”

The options were sweet, sour or salty – and the player chose sour, much to Bradley’s dismay.

When he saw what she had put down, he cupped his face in his hands and said, “When someone is polite, they are smooth and charming.

“It’s a Latin word meaning sweet. Sugary. Saccharin.”

Darragh insisted, “He doesn’t know that, by the way.” But seconds later it was proven.

Bradley threw his hands in the air and walked away from The Chase’s famous console, shaking his head.

“All the way here. If The Chaser puts it sweetly, you’re out. I think he will know. It’s hard to take – after all the work.”

Darragh got the question right, saying “It was the only one that made sense.”
