The cause of death of The Wire star Lance Reddick was revealed after the actor passed away at the age of 60

LANCE Reddick’s cause of death has now been revealed after he was found dead at his home last month.
The 60-year-old The Wire star was originally thought to have died of natural causes, but his death certificate has shown that wasn’t the case.

The actor died of heart disease, the cause of death was given as narrowed heart arteries.
TMZ reported his causes of death listed as ischemic heart disease and atherosclerotic coronary artery disease.
The condition prevents blood and oxygen from reaching the heart.
The terms ischemic heart disease and coronary artery disease are often used interchangeably, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
The certificate also confirmed that Lance was originally thought to have died of natural causes.
Actor John Wick was found dead at his home in Los Angeles on March 17.
Before his sudden death, Lance was on a press tour for the upcoming fourth installment of the former mob hitman, portrayed by Keanu Reeves.
In a recent interview for Screen Rant, the 60-year-old spoke to co-star Ian McShane about his role as Charon in the film.
He revealed the origin story of the friendship between Winston and Charon, which he and McShane have worked to develop over the years.
Lance, who was born in Baltimore, received a music degree from the University of Rochester and a Masters in Fine Arts from Yale.
Prior to his role as a concierge at the Continental Hotel on John Wick, Lance rose to stardom when he played Baltimore Police Officer Cedrick Daniels on The Wire.
He played the no-nonsense Baltimore cop in all five seasons of the HBO crime drama.
He has also had recurring roles on a handful of other TV productions such as Fringe, Bosch, Oz, and Lost.
Lance also appeared in the films Angel Has Fallen, Godzilla Vs. Kong and One Night in Miami, among others.
He is slated to appear in the upcoming projects White Men Can’t Jump and Shirley, which are slated for release later this year.
The star is also set to reprise his role as Charon in the John Wick spin-off Ballerina, which has no release date.
He is survived by his wife Stephanie Day and two children he shared with his ex-wife Suzanne Louis.
