Texas teenager Johnathan Serrano is going viral on TikTok for making squeaky noises when swallowing dog toys

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX– A teenager turns a potentially serious matter into something funny after becoming a human squeaky toy, making the ER and the internet laugh.

The mishap, which went viral on TikTok, came when 13-year-old Johnathan Serrano told ABC News’ Lionel Moise that he accidentally swallowed a dog toy while molesting his mother instead of getting ready for a camping trip, and him ended up in the emergency room.

“He wasn’t done and he was sitting there bugging me with this dog toy and so I got this two-liter bottle and I was like, ‘Johnathan, I’m going to hit you if you don’t stop,'” Serrano’s mom said . “When I go to get it, it’s empty and he ducks down and swallows it (the toy).”

The dog toy’s white whistle landed in the teen’s esophagus. Serrano said he would make a squeaky noise whenever he tried to speak or laugh.

On TikTok he became a laughing sensation, even for the doctors in the hospital.

“He was sort of the king of the hospital,” Serrano’s mother told ABC. “All the doctors and nurses went in there and said, ‘Hey, can you make the noise for us?'”

The sound effects made for some hilarious moments, but Serrano knew this was serious business.

“I was afraid that the dog toy might move into a position where the air wouldn’t pass through,” Serrano said.

The ER doctors put him to sleep and used a scope to recover the toy. The 13-year-old said he learned his lesson.

The prank made him miss his camping trip, but he says there’s a plus in going viral.

“Everyone calls me cute in the comments, so I kinda like it,” he said.
