Sugababes’ Heidi Range reveals heartbreaking family loss as she shares snaps of rarely seen children
SUGABABES singer Heidi Range has left fans sad as she shared the news of a heartbreaking family loss.
The 39-year-old singer confirmed that her beloved grandmother recently passed away.

On Instagram, Heidi told her fans that she paid her last respects to “Nanny G” yesterday after her death.
Accompanying the heartbreaking announcement, Sugababe Heidi looked back on happy memories as she shared a sweet photo of her alongside her nan and their two rarely seen daughters.
The Push The Button singer captioned the post: “Nan granddaughter and great granddaughters [love heart emoji].”
She added: “My beautiful nanny G (age 93) got her wings last week and today I paid my last respects to her. Rest peacefully Nan, we love you so much.”
In the sweet snap, the pop star had a beaming smile on her face as she proudly sat next to her grandma while her daughter sat on her knees.
The photo will be a touching reminder to Heidi’s children of the precious time they were allowed to spend with their great-grandmother.
Heidi welcomed her eldest daughter Aurelia in 2018, two years after tying the knot with husband Alex Partakis in a lavish ceremony in Florence.
The couple were delighted again in 2021 when they welcomed a second child into the world.
At the time, Heidi shared a photo of herself snuggling her newborn in bed, as well as a picture of her little girl wrapped in a blanket and another of her in a baby bump.
Heidi wrote about the pictures: “She’s here! We are pleased to introduce our little bundle of joy: Athena Veronica Partakis, born 9.05pm on 5th August 2021, 6 pounds 1 ounce of pure love.”
The singer first rose to prominence as a founding member of Atomic Kitten but left the group before it found fame.
However, as a member of what is probably the most famous formation, the Sugababes, she quickly made a name for herself in the music world.
Heidi performed in the group between 2001 and 2011.
She has since appeared as a contestant on Dancing on Ice, even returning to the show’s rink side earlier this year when she spoke live with Holly Willoughby during the show’s finale about the pressures this year’s stars faced to put on an amazing performance to yield last skate.
