Substitute: Projector stolen from former drive-in cinema near Ionia

ORANGE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) – Authorities are asking the public for help in locating a projector stolen from a former drive-in cinema near Ionia.

The Ionia County Sheriff’s Office said investigators believe the projector was stolen from Danny Boy’s former drive-in movie theaters on S. State Road north of David Highway in Orange Township sometime between Oct. 6 and Oct. 9 became.

“This commercial projector is extremely expensive but would have a very limited resale market,” the sheriff’s office said in a Facebook post.

No suspicious information was released.
