Star Wars fans will notice something odd about the villain list

As George Lucas compared war of stars to poetry and said that every stanza “rhymes with the last”, we’re not sure if that’s exactly what he had in mind.
The galactically far, far away tale is not afraid of repetition every now and then. If you think about it in the context of the three trilogies, a lot of the things that happen in one also happen in the other, with some movies like JJ Abrams’ The Force Awakens unabashedly rehashing everything that made their old-school counterparts work.
Even Lucas knew such echoes were inevitable when developing such an expansive fictional universe, but what fans have realised, it takes it to a strange new visual extreme. As you can see above, we can’t even begin to go through the “evil white bald” antagonists war of stars lore.
Who knew the dark side would make you lose your hair? If Anakin had known about that little side effect, he probably wouldn’t have signed up, not even to save Padme’s life. On the other hand, his situation may have more to do with having to burn alive on a bench of molten lava.
Then there’s Palpatine, also pale and bald. And Darth Plagueis. And Smoke. Seriously, what is this trend all about?
Disturbingly, this isn’t just one war of stars Thing. For some reason Hollywood seems to think that bald people emanate evil energy, or how else would you explain someone like Walter White, or guess countless other antagonists in cinema history?
Forget Jesus, these villains need L’Oréal.
