Spurs thrash the Toon after a brutal second-half collapse in visitors

Tottenham beat Newcastle 5-1 on Sunday afternoon which put them back in fourth place in the league.
The Toon took the lead from a free kick by Fabian Schar, but Ben Davies soon equalized.

Newcastle then collapsed in the second half, conceding four goals from four shots on target.
First Matt Doherty headed in a Harry Kane cross, then Heung-min Son headed in Dejan Kulusevski’s ball to make it 3-1.
Emerson Royal made it 4-1 before substitute Steven Bergwijn slipped through and shot the ball into the net to seal the defeat.

The venue is Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and kick-off is scheduled for 4.30pm.
Tottenham defeated Newcastle 3-2 in the last meeting between these two at St James’ Park. It was the first game after the Toons took over and it was also Steve Bruce’s last game in charge.
